I love vintage chests and these original and functional puff chairs are our best allies we can opt for to place in some empty places of the entrance hall or even in the living room!

 Summer sales are always the best excuse to buy some fine and high quality items for our home! Online shipping is usually free and the delivery might depend on the order, but it still can be a great deal to save money!

This coat rack reminds me of one we used to have in my parents' house and it could be of great help for the entrance hall! Imagine a busy weekend when guests are coming and hand bags and light overcoats are to be stored.

Do you have an empty corner or wall in the house? This showcase can be useful to display your coffee cups or teapots! Some painted bowls can also add some splash of colour, too!

The dream of having my own summer house is still on my New Year's Resolutions List and these might be the items I would definitely add to my dream house!!

Bedroom ideas!

I have been trying to change some corners in my bedroom, but I realised that sometimes this is not only about placing or ... replacing the pieces of furniture we have!

I always find it so exciting to buy some curtains or wall murals and this way I get to refresh the atmosphere and my mood!

I also like fine bedlinen or windowseats: it is simply amazing the effect they create and I adore to reinvent myself by trying new colours and textures!

I have to admit that I need to find inspiration from brilliant interior designers and every time I visit some of their websites I end up overwhelmed by the high quantity and quality of really interesting items we can easily order online!

I am a great fan of saying and idioms, too but and this time I will focus on some Norwegian proverbs.

I started to learn this language some months ago and I found proverbs useful to practise and to find out new vocabulary structures and forms.

A splash of Spring!!!!

Spring is one of the best colourful moments and I am always in love with the floral detailsI use in different corners of my home!!!

Entrance hall: add some jars with flowers or green plants and you will get a nice welcome moment every time you arrive at home!

Living room: you can use some sofa cushions of floral motifs and you can use large vases with blooms that will make your corner magical!

Carnival costumes

This post is about Carnival costumes and I am thinking about the best costumes I have seen online and I could buy and wear in the next days.
To be honest, I have never celebrated Carnival and i have never bought a costume, but you neverknow till youreally buy one!

I like this one, because it is elegant and quite simple:

but  I have to admit that I am  a crazy fan of boots, so

Interior Design: Blue Navy

Blue is my favourite colour and I have loads of blue cushions, bed covers and table cloths.

So, writing this post I am willing to collect the best ideas of Blue inspiration for a perfect interior design.

I was recently walking on the harbour and I loved the blue and white contrast reflected on the sea and I think that combining navy blue and white, we can create a warm and relaxing nautical decor.

Sometimes, we do not need to have too many blue articles, and it only takes a few moments to replace the old rugs and throws!

While I was looking for ideas for this post, I was happy to see that we can even have a special corner in our house that could easily stand for a boat corner!

Nautical style is a modern trend and it is quite easy to create a special nautical interior design.

Try to add elements that are simply related to the sea, the harbour, to fishing or sailing.
You can even paint the walls in a warm blue tone, too.

Sofas can be the protagonist because a velvet blue simply makes a sofa become instantly magical!

Buy a nice model boat, yacht or ship for a really fresh coastal style!

In fact, you can buy anything that is nautical in order to create a cozy atmosphere: lighthouses, ship wheels, anchors, nautical rope ...

You can add some paintings with nice sea details and if you combine them with some big shells you can bring the beach directly into your living room!

Use lamps or put shells in old vases in order to refresh their style!
